Wow, I haven't been on here in forever, almost literally.

I'll endeavor to be on here more, but with between school and just living life, I haven't had much chance to do art.

I've got some paintings, though, that I'll put up on here when I get a chance. I'm also working to develop my photography skills a bit more, so hopefully you'll see some amazing work soon.

Uh, what else? I'm teaching myself how to draw from what I've learned in a painting class, I'm also honing my writing skills (my English teacher is amazing), and 26 Ways to Die is basically on hiatus until further notice. I need to redo it, maybe think it through some more. Maybe I'll tackle a smaller project in the meantime.

Until then...

I've been going through a blue period. Not like a depressed period, but my artwork has been having blue casts lately. I like it. Just something I noticed. Tell me if you've noticed too.

To get straight to the point, these are the rules for using my stock:

If intended for commercial use, express permission must be given. Compensation may be required.
If not intended for commercial use, it may NOT be used anywhere other than deviantART unless I have given express permission.

With a subject that blatantly morbid, what could this journal possibly be about? Uhm, how about my latest idea? It's going to be a series of twenty-six photos, each depicting somebody either in the process of being killed or just plain old dead. Actually, I'm not even really aiming for JUST dead. I'm going for macabre, B-movie, horror-flick kind of dead. Yep, you can just tell I'm not in any need of psychological help...

Actually, when I told my mom about this project, she was like, "Great, now I'm going to get a call from the school counselor's informing me that my daughter has a fascination with death and is being shipped off to the nuthouse as we speak". Inspires confidence, doesn't she? lol

It's a fairly large-scale project, and I'm a little nervous, actually. I've got it all planned out, and I'm done with two of them. One's actually the first one, and the other one is the twenty-third, so it won't be up for quite a while since I want to put them up in order. The first one should be up soon. So, anticipate it.

Any tips on doing gore and bruises and cuts are much appreciated. Any comments are much appreciated.
